Gramercy at Elm Creek Cooperative with 87 units, opened in January 2005. The property was once a farm and across the street, where Target now is, was the 55 High Drive-in Movie Theater. The site had been owned for generations by the Dorweiler family, founders and owners of the Farmers State Bank of Hamel.
Residents of Gramercy at Elm Creek Cooperative converted to Medina Ridge Condominium Association in October of 2013 to facilitate financing by prospects interested in buying a home at Medina Ridge. We value our investments and relationships. The residents, mostly through committees, are involved in the successful operation of the community.
Medina Ridge is a condominium community for active adults 55 years of age and older. Medina Ridge combines quality, security, and privacy and is one of the most sought after locations in the Twin Cities.
What is Medina Ridge?
When you enter the building you’ll be in the Great Room with high ceilings and several cozy alcoves for reading or quiet conversations, and an expansive gathering space. A grand piano adds to the room’s character and charm. The stone fireplace and views of the verandas and patios complete this beautiful and inviting setting.
Community rooms encourage the cooperative spirit of Medina Ridge. Show off your skills in the Players Club with a billiards table, dartboard, and card tables. Nurture plants through the seasons in the sunlit Garden Solarium. Keep your body in motion in the state-of-the-art Fitness Center. Get creative in the Creative Arts Room or immerse yourself in a good book in the Library. For greater community the Ridge Room is a natural setting for larger get-togethers. A large kitchen off the Ridge Room is available for every event from family gatherings to a Medina Ridge party. There is also a Business Center with a computer, copier and fax machine right at your fingertips. Two Guest Suites provide convenience for out of town visitors.
The grounds and exterior of the building reflect the same care and attention to detail as the interior. As you approach the building on Clydesdale Trail, you see carefully landscaped grounds with trees lining the driveway and sidewalks. On the south of the building, you’ll find an expansive patio and picturesque fountain. There is plenty of room and the latest outdoor grilling equipment for the many summer activities at Medina Ridge. This area, too, is available for use by residents for family events.
